Recently I decided that I wanted to focus more on my website and more specifically build the tea inventory and grow online sales. When I made this decision, I knew there was a possibility that I would need some assistance. Adding a social media intern to my team could potentially accelerate the timeline to get the infrastructure in place to better market the tea products.
The first thing we agreed on was to create a new Facebook and Instagram to focus on Bliss Teas Blends. We named the Facebook page Bliss Tea Blends, curated by Bliss Tea & Treats. These pages would focus specifically on the teas that we blend. We will tell stories and share more about the ingredients and how they work together to create wellness in our bodies.

We also figured that if we use new properties then the link will take customers directly to shopify as opposed to the reservation site on our Bliss Tea & Treats experience site.
When guests go to Bliss.TeaBlends on Instagram and Bliss Tea Blends curated by Bliss Tea & Treats on Facebook we will be very intentional about education around tea preparation, how to serve a proper cup of tea. Tea etiquette and more importantly what goes into our teas.
We will use static images of the teas but will complement them with videos that tell the story. For example, when we created our love potion tea four years ago it was inspired by our Beauty and the Beast theme. We had to have a tea that reflected the theme of love and we did a tea blend that truly tells a story to your pallet. Since creating that blend we have taught hundreds of guests how to blend that tea.
Creating new social media is not enough to create a better experience for our guests. We also must make some modifications to our shopify site. We will organize the products so they are easier to find. We will also include multimedia as part of each product page. This video content we can also share on youtube, facebook and Instagram. Guests need to have an easy way to experience the teas virtually and be a part of the creative process. We want our guests to request special blends based on their wellness needs. We believe that as healthcare becomes more challenging for everyone, more people will look to teas and will look to us to explore natural ingredients. We would like to help them discover alternative wellness options.

Over the last two weeks I have been creating wellness teas that we can categorize into specific verticals like: (Gordon, 2024)
Herbal Teas, Green Teas, Black Teas, Specialty and Seasonal, Women’s Wellness
Implementation Tips (ChatGpt, 2024):
• Filters: Add filters for caffeine level, flavor profiles (e.g., fruity, floral, spicy), and dietary preferences like organic or vegan.
• Cross-Promotion: Include suggestions like “Pairs well with” for accessories or gift sets when viewing individual teas.

• Visual Cues: Use distinct imagery or color-coded labels for categories to make them visually engaging and intuitive.
